Fabrizio De André: Storia di un impiegato (1971)
Allmusic says: "An imperfect but thoroughly compelling album, Storia di un Impiegato remains a worthy addition to De André's impeccable catalog."
I say: Can an impeccable whole contain an imperfect part?
What do you say?
Oh, man... I think my first impression suffered from this not being Lucio Battisti (post something of his!). But it's a grower. I mean, I couldn't resist an Italian Leonard Cohen backed by moogs and a prog rock orchestra forever, could I?
ReplyDeleteNo, you could not. You've got Amore e non amore, right? I'll post something of his in the next couple days.
